Ground Arrangement

Itinerary:

DAY 1: KUALA LUMPUR - PHNOM PENH

Pick up at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to visit Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town. You will also see the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace, the silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Afterwards, continue to National Museum,  where most of the exhibits date from the Angkor period. Continue tour to the Independence Monument. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

 

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Toul Sleng,  a used S-21 prison and interrogation facility during Pol Pot Regime. Then continue to visit Wat Phnom Temple, the symbol of the Phnom Penh Capital built in 1434. Lunch at local restaurant. Free time for shopping at Sorya Super market/Aeon Mall. In the afternoon take a boat trip to catch the Sunset in front of the Royal Palace at the Four Rivers. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Phnom Penh.

 

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - MINI ANGKOR (TONLE BATI)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Mini Angkor (Tonle Bati) in Takeo Province, where there are two Angkorian era temples, Ta Prohm and Yeap Peau. Both temples were built under Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century during the same period that Bayon and Angkor Thom in Siem Reap were constructed. Lunch at local restaurant in Phnom Penh. This afternoon you will enjoy shopping at Russian Market, Central Market, where there are variety of souvenirs to bring back home. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Phnom Penh.

 

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - KUALA LUMPUR

After breakfast, enjoy free time at your own leisure before transfer to airport for your flight back home.

Itinerary:

DAY 1: KUALA LUMPUR - SIEM REAP

Pick up at Siem Reap International Airport and visit Floating Village. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Continue to visit Wat Bo founded in the 18th century, a highly respected pagoda contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from late 19th century. Then lunch at local restaurant. Visit Local Market & “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole” the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Dinner at local restaurant before returning to hotel.

 

DAY 2: SIEM REAP

After breakfast, start tour with visit to South Gate of Angkor, The famous Bayon Temple. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive terrace wall adorned with carving of elephants which gradually spans to the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants. After tour, lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Then continue to Angkor Wat Temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152. Buffet dinner with Apsara Dance Show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

DAY 3: SIEM REAP

After breakfast, visit Banteay Srei, also known as “citadel of the women”. Then, visit Ban-teay Samre,  the comparatively flat temple displaying distinctively Angkor style and Kbal Spean Tample, where there are carving of Buddha and Buddist images in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the highlights of the Grand Circuit including Preah Khan which means The Sacred Sword. Not only that, you will visit the Neak Pean, this temple is the result of Khmer art. Visit Pre Rup and East Mebon was built in the 10th century by Rajendrvarnman. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

 

DAY 4: SIEM REAP - KUALA LUMPUR

After breakfast, enjoy free time at your own leisure before transfer to airport for your flight back home.

Greeted by our local representative upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport. Our sightseeing tour begins with the Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town. You will also see the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace, the silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum and the Independence Monument.  Check in hotel after dinner.

 

 

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, a memorial and a testament to the madness of the Khmer Rouge regime.  Then, we will visit to Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh. Free time for shopping at Sorya Super Market.  In the late afternoon, enjoy viewing the sunset on a boat trip along the central riverfront area providing a picturesque view of the Royal Palace.

 

 

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP

Proceed to Siem Reap by a private bus (Driving journey: approx. 5-6 hours). Tour starts with the Floating Village of Chong Khneas. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here you’ll see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap.  Continue our sightseeing to the Wat Bo, one of the oldest temples in the town with a collection of well-preserved wall paintings from the late 19th century.

 

DAY 4: SIEM REAP

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. The Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara ; the Phimeanakas ; the Baphoun, the Elephant Terrace & the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Ta Prohm-one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Discover the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodia flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Dinner at local restaurant with Apsara Dance Show.

 

 

DAY 5: SIEM REAP - KUALA LUMPUR

After breakfast, enjoy free time at your own leisure before transfer to airport for your flight back home.
